Need something to watch? Add these 2SLGBTQI+ shows and films to your list this July
Summer is busy, but if you have some downtime there are a bunch of new shows with queer storylines and performers we’d recommend.
While heatwaves and dry spells can come with the summer season, there is no need to worry about a Drag Race drought. Drag Race France All Stars premieres bringing back queens from the past three seasons for a second shot at the crown – or the third for Soa de Muse. Other reality TV options include season 21 of Project Runway and season 11 of The Amazing Race Canada.
July also marks the beginning of the end for some popular shows. The staff of Las Colinas bids farewell as Apple TV+ debuts the final season of Acapulco; Neil Gaiman’s The Sandman will end with two parts on Netflix; and summer wraps up on Prime Video with the third season of The Summer I Turned Pretty.
In case you missed, all episodes of Alexander Skarsgård’s Murderbot will be available to watch all at once after the first season ends on July 11. The series features Canada’s Tattiawna Jones, who we interviewed for the July/August issue of the magazine.
Here are 14 titles that we recommend streaming in July.
