The Canvas Cabaret fundraising event in Toronto will be held on Thursday, September 26 and will toast a decade of 2SLGBTQ+ inclusion and consent education…
Velour, velvet, glitter, and gems! It’s called GLAMOUR baby! Canvas Programs, a thriving charity in Ontario that provides empathy-based education on consent and 2SLGBTQ+ inclusion, is getting ready to host an exciting fundraising event in Toronto on Thursday, September 26. The evening will toast a decade of 2SLGBTQ+ inclusion and consent education.
Over the past decade, Canvas has built a team of artists and educators that run workshops for over 10,000 youth, teachers, and caregivers each year. Their programs create spaces where all people are free to live authentically and have the tools to create safe and caring relationships. The organization is moving the needle towards a society free from homophobia, transphobia, and gender-based and sexual violence.
With changing times, this charity has seen the growing need for inclusion education. With your support, the org looks forward to continuing to expand Canvas’ education to reach across Southern Ontario and beyond.
On Thursday, September 26 wear an outfit that makes you shine and join in for a night of poetry, music, and drag at the Centre for Social Innovation – Annex.
