Drag Race Star Jade Jolie Proudly Comes Out As Trans

RuPaul’s Drag Race and Dragula queen Jade Jolie has announced that she is “moving forward” with her transition…

Beloved drag performer Jade Jolie took to X (formerly known as Twitter) with an exciting life update: “Deciding to choose myself and move forward with my transition,” she wrote in a post shared with her 85k followers. Jolie originally rose to prominence competing on season five of RuPaul’s Drag Race and season four of The Boulet Brothers’ Dragula

Naturally, fans flocked to the comments to celebrate the news.

Jolie is a queen of many talents, although she is most well-known throughout the fandom for her Taylor Swift impression during season 5’s epic Snatch Game episode and her appearance in Swift’s super gay 2019 music video “You Need to Calm Down.”

Jolie is one of many notable RuPaul’s Drag Race alum who have publicly come out as trans in recent years. Others include Eureka O’Hara (season 9, 10, All Stars 6), Jasmine Kennedy (season 14), Gigi Goode (season 12), Willow Pill (season 14), Laganja Estranga (season 6), and Adore Delano (season 6, All Stars 2).

Congrats on publicly sharing your truth, Jade Jolie!
