Justin Trudeau Makes History As The First World Leader To Appear On The Drag Race Franchise

The Prime Minister of Canada will make an appearance on Canada’s Drag Race: Canada vs. the World

It’s almost time for Canada’s Drag Race: Canada vs. the World where nine queens from around the world will compete across six episodes for the title of the next “Queen of the Mothertucking World.” When the battle for Drag Race‘s second international crown begins at the end of next week one political figure will be making history. Canada’s Prime Minister Justin Trudeau will become the first world leader to appear on the Drag Race franchise when he enters the Canadian Werk Room.

The nine international drag queens set to re-enter the Werk Room and compete on Canada’s Drag Race: Canada vs. the World are: Anita Wigl’it (RuPaul’s Drag Race Down Under season 1); Icesis Couture (Canada’s Drag Race season 2); Kendall Gender (Canada’s Drag Race season 2); Ra’Jah O’Hara (RuPaul’s Drag Race season 11/RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 6); Rita Baga (Canada’s Drag Race season 1); Silky Nutmeg Ganache (RuPaul’s Drag Race season 11/RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 6); Stephanie Prince (Canada’s Drag Race season 2); Vanity Milan (RuPaul’s Drag Race UK series 3); and Victoria Scone (RuPaul’s Drag Race UK series 3).

Brooke Lynn Hytes, Brad Goreski, and Traci Melchor will serve as judges for the first-ever installation of Canada’s Drag Race: Canada vs. the World. Guest judges include: Anjulie (JUNO Award-winning singer-songwriter); Gary Janetti (Writer, producer, and author); Hollywood Jade (Canada’s Drag Race resident choreographer); Jeanne Beker (Fashion icon); Joe Zee (TV host), and Sarain Fox (Activist and filmmaker). Drag Race alums like Monét X Change and Priyanka, will also make appearances during the season.

Canada’s Drag Race: Canada vs. the World will premiere on Friday November 18 on Crave in Canada and on the WOW Presents Plus subscription streaming service around the world. You can watch the first trailer below.
