The Traitors Season 4 Cast Includes Major Queer Icons

Drag queens, queer icons & reality chaos collide in The Traitors Season 4. This cast is unhinged in the best way. Let’s unpack it…

Once a campy social experiment hiding behind kilts and candlelight, The Traitors has fully embraced its identity as reality TV’s most unhinged (and undeniably queer) murder mystery. And season 4? It doesn’t just dip a toe into queer waters — it does a swan dive off the turret of former IN cover star Alan Cumming’s castle.

With a cast stacked with drag royalty, LGBTQ+ icons, staunch allies, and yes, even Taylor Swift’s possible future mother-in-law, The Traitors has cracked the code on giving the girls, gays, and theys what they want. It’s petty. It’s dramatic. It’s glittering with vengeance. And somehow, they got Stephen Colletti to show up again, looking like he never left Laguna Beach.

Let’s get into the absolute madness of this cast.

The queer cast members carry (as they should)

Let’s start with the queens — and we mean that literally. Monét X Change, drag legend and podcast co-host of Sibling Rivalry, is walking into that castle ready to snatch wigs and detect traitors. Following in the footsteps of Bob the Drag Queen (who played last season), Monét’s casting is more than representation — it’s a statement. Drag is brain, wit, and strategy. In this game? That’s deadly.

Also returning to queer up the joint is Colton Underwood, former Bachelor turned gay icon (depending on who you ask). His coming out was messily public, but his presence in the reality circuit now feels like reclamation. If The Traitors is the church of second chances, Colton’s a sermon.

Then there’s Kristen Kish, Top Chef winner turned host, who radiates cool queer brilliance — the kind of person who could whip up a flawless banishment strategy and a five-course meal at the same time. And don’t sleep on Yam Yam, Survivor winner and certified chaos agent with a heart. If charisma was currency, he’d be buying up everyone’s vote.

Real allies recognize real: Dorinda, Donna, and the devoted

Let’s be honest: some allies show up for Pride month. Others show up at a haunted castle in Scotland to protect the gays with their lives. Enter Dorinda Medley, returning to The Traitors after being wrongfully (and memorably) banished in Season 3. She’s a Housewives icon, a gay bar staple, and a loyal ride-or-die with a soft spot for queer contestants — even if she’s the one stabbing them in the back with a flourish.

Then there’s Donna Kelce — yes, that Donna. Travis and Jason’s mom. The one seen dancing in VIP with Taylor Swift. She’s entering the castle like it’s a tailgate and bringing pure mama bear energy. Imagine the memes. Imagine the confessionals. Imagine her slipping into a full alliance with a drag queen without missing a beat. Donna gets it.

Also, mark your calendars for Tara Lipinski and Johnny Weir — ice skating icons who know how to read the room, the runway, and the body language of traitors.

Stephen Colletti, still hot. Candiace Dillard-Bassett, still problematic

Now let’s talk about Stephen Colletti. Somehow, the Laguna Beach heartthrob has found himself trapped in a reality TV fever dream, and he’s thriving. Last season, Dylan Efron flirted his way into our hearts. This season, we get a Stephen Colletti resurgence, smirking, scheming, and looking like a man who knows his way around both alliances and lighting. He’s reality TV’s eternal boyfriend from the 2000s, and we’re not mad about it.

On the flip side, there’s Candiace Dillard-Bassett. Former Miss United States and Real Housewives of Potomac cast member, her casting is… complicated. Fans have long memories — especially queer fans. And many haven’t forgotten her past homophobic tweets, which sparked backlash even during her Housewives run. Her presence in such a proudly queer-friendly cast raises eyebrows. Let’s hope she’s done the work and shows up with more empathy than ego.

The rest: Icons, wildcards, and reality TV gold

This cast is an embarrassment of riches. Lisa Rinna, Mark Ballas, Maura Higgins, Porsha Williams, Rob Rausch — all bringing varying degrees of fabulous mess. Michael Rapaport is bound to yell. Ron Funches will somehow be both stoned and brilliant. Eric Nam may charm his way through like a K-pop spy. Natalie Anderson will play to win, and Rob Cesternino is here to podcast the entire experience from the inside.

It’s chaotic. It’s brilliant. It’s so deeply unserious — and yet, for the queer audience that’s always turned reality TV into community theater, it matters.

Why this season might be the queerest (and best) one Yyet

The Traitors has quietly become a space where queerness isn’t tokenized — it’s embedded. Whether it’s drag queens clashing with Housewives or LGBTQ+ players forging powerful alliances, the show reflects a cultural shift: queer stories don’t just belong in the margins. They are the story.

In a media landscape where queerness is still politicized, The Traitors stands out for making it mundane — and magical. It reminds us that being gay isn’t a side plot. It’s the main event.

And in Alan Cumming’s castle? Everyone plays for their life. But the gays? The gays always play for legacy.
