Canada’s longest running health survey for 2SLGBTQI+ people is open and ready to make change…
Vancouver’s Community-Based Research Centre (CBRC) has launched its annual Sex Now survey and is calling 2SLGBTQI+ people of all genders to take part!
As Canada’s largest and longest running health survey for the 2SLGBTQI+ community, the CBRC collects critical data that has been proven to shape health policies and community services. In the past, responses have provided guidance that has helped end conversion therapy and blood donation bans.
The 2025 survey will focus on a number of topics including organ donation, immigration, gender-affirming care and stigma. By participating your voice can drive real change in the health and wellbeing of the community.
Here are some things you need to know about the 2025 Sex Now survey.

Is the survey only in English?
No, the survey can be taken in French or Spanish.
What will I be asked?
There will be a variety of questions related to, but not limited to, organ and tissue donation, immigration experiences, gambling, access to gender affirming care and the impacts of stigma and discrimination. What if I don’t have 30 minutes?
Don’t worry, if you return to the same device and browser within two days, you’ll be able to pick up where you left off.
Where can I take the survey?
You can find the survey on the CBRC website.
I’m not sure, I still have questions?
