The season 17 eliminated queens lip sync for their chance to win $50,000…
Last week we said goodbye to Suzie Toot, our final farewell of the season before next week’s grand finale. Suzie was eliminated following a challenge that tested their abilities to headline the live Las Vegas show. Sam and Suzie were placed in the bottom while Onya picked up another win ahead of the finale. This week all of the eliminated queens from the season will return to the werk room where they’ll compete in a lip sync smackdown for a cash prize. Let’s get into it.
This week’s episode begins with all of the queens from this season entering the werk room together. Lana is so ready for the smackdown as the assassin of the season. Even Joella is back, and she wants her revenge. This episode was filmed recently, so Jewels and Arrietty aren’t on bad terms, but they aren’t sisters either. Kori and Lydia are now together, together, and Suzie is grilled about not making it to the finale. Kori pulls her Suzie wig out of her bag and brings Kori Toot to life beyond Cameo videos. They get right into drag and ready for the smackdown. Arrietty apologizes to Onya about the nasty mirror message she left when she was eliminated, which Onya accepts. Most of the eliminated queens want to have fun on the main stage and redeem themselves from their last performances.
Out on the main stage, Ru introduces this week’s panel of judges. This week it’s just family with Michelle, Ts, and Bruno from the Pit Crew sitting on the panel. All of the queens walk the runway before the lip sync lalaparuza begins. Every queen who wins a lip sync will continue to the next round, and if they lose, they’ll return to the werk room. The top four leave the stage and the lalaparuza begins. Bruno spins the hopper and pulls out Hormona Lisa’s ball. Hormona can either pick her opponent or the song. Hormona chooses to pick a song and lands on “Say Liza (Liza with a Z)” which throws Suzie off. Bruno picks Lydia’s ball out of the hopper and round one officially begins. Hormona and Lydia take on the wordy and theatrical song. There are a few reveals, Suzie’s lip syncing from her seat, and the winner of the first lip sync is Lydia B Kollins, who will move onto the next round, sending Hormona and back to the werk room.

The next name pulled out of the hopper is Suzie. Suzie decides to pick her opponent and chooses Joella, and Joella chooses for them to lip sync to “Training Season” by Dua Lipa. Lip sync two begins and the song is definitely not in Suzie’s wheelhouse, but she’s relying on Joella’s weakness to pull off a win. Joella has an outfit reveal, and so does Suzie. The vibes are different, but they’re both giving it their all. Ru decides to give the win to Suzie Toot, banishing Joella to the werk room.

Bruno pulls Lucky Starzzz’s name out of the hopper next and Lucky decides on picking a song and goes with “Step by Step” by Whitney Houston. Bruno picks Acacia’s name next as her opponent and lip sync three kicks off. Lucky is going in with the movement, but Acacia has an outfit and wig reveal. Lucky does some tricks with her basketball boobs, and Acacia does a delayed shablam which gets some laughs from the queens. Ru and the judges pick Lucky to advance and knocks Acacia out of the competition.

Lip sync four begins when Bruno pulls Arrietty’s ball and she chooses “Blow Me (One Last Kiss)” by P!nk and the drag gods choose Kori as her opponent. It starts tame but both queens give it their all as the song progresses. Arrietty does some ribbon twirls and both do drop splits at the same time. After a lip sync full of passion Ru declares Kori King is the winner of this round, sending Arrietty back to the werk room which gags the queens in there.

Crystal and Lana are the last queens left, which means they’ll be competing against each other in lip sync five. Bruno picks Lana’s name from the hopper, so she’ll get to choose the song and she lands on “You Make Me Feel (Mighty Real)” by Sylvester. Both queens put funk into their performances with a bunch of reveals and tricks. Lana throws in an incredible jump split and grinds on Crystal. Ru gives the win to Lana and ends Crystal’s time in the smackdown.

Round two begins with Lucky. She chooses “We Found Love” by Rihanna. The drag gods choose Suzie Toot as her opponent. It’s a Florida lip sync and It’s Suzie Toot vs basketball titties and the competition is close, but Suzie has some tricks up her own fringed sleeves. Suzie takes her second win and advances to the final lip sync.

While Lucky makes her way back to the werk room the semifinals wraps up with a three-way lip sync between Kori, Lydia, and Lana to “360” by Charli XCX. The odds aren’t in Kori’s favour, but if there’s a three-way kiss, she might have a chance. Lydia ditches the scissors and pulls off a reveal, and all three queens are givingg Brat realness. Ru decides that the final queen to compete in the final round is Kori King, and Lana and Lydia head back to the werk room.

Before the final round, Ru summons all of the queens back to the main stage to watch the last lip sync. Kori and Suzie lip sync to “APT.” by Bruno Mars and ROSÉ. Both queens are putting all of their remaining energy into this last performance and it could be anybody’s win. In the final moments, Kori finally uses her tearaway bra and Suzie ditches her coat. Ru declares the winner of the lip sync lalaparuza, a $50,000 cash tip, and the title of Shedonealready Hadherses, is none other than Miss SUZIE TOOT!

Next week on RuPaul’s Drag Race: It’s a grand finale! One queen will take the crown and the cash after some epic and unforgettable performances.
