Here’s How To Apply For Season 6 Of Canada’s Drag Race

Come on season 6, let’s get sickening!

Canada’s Drag Race is getting ready to head into production for season six (already!?) and they are looking for a few good queens. That means that the race for a cash prize of $100,000 CA has officially started and hopeful competitors can apply now!

“We’re looking for the fiercest queens from across the nation to compete for the crown,” says host and “Queen of the North” Brooke Lynn Hytes. “Think you have what it takes? Apply now and show us your charisma, uniqueness, nerve, and talent!”

Casting is NOW OPEN and all hopeful competitors who are at least 19 years of age and older (as of October 17, 2024), and are Canadian citizens or permanent residents of Canada can kick off the application process right here.

Queens are encouraged to put their “best, freshest, most up-to-date foot forward” and will be required to submit: 6 photos in drag, 2 photos out of drag, one to two drag performance videos that have been taped within the last 2 years, as well as one introduction video (60-90 seconds in length) explaining why you need to be apart of season 6.

Due to the confidential nature of the series, potential competitors are reminded to keep their application video private.

Wondering when to apply? The answer is TODAY. Time is, as always, very tight. Wondering if you’ve been selected? You will be contacted by a member of the CDR6 Casting Team by phone or email.  Those candidates selected to move forward will be contacted no later than December 15, 2024.

Good luck Canucks and don’t puck it up!
