The festivities officially kicked off on Saturday, August 24, 2024 when Indigenous leaders and city officials came together for a Pride Flag Ceremony at City Hall, located in the city’s downtown core (800 Macleod Trail SE). This powerful ceremony set the stage for a week-long celebration at local businesses, restaurants, and venues, which are all coming alive with pride-themed events and initiatives, welcoming Calgarians and visitors from across the country and around the globe.

The official 2024 Calgary Pride Parade and Festival will take place on Saturday, August 31 and Sunday, September 1, 2024 at Prince’s Island Park. Here’s everything that you need to know before heading out to the annual festival and parade.
