*This page will be updated with any new information or changes. Be sure to check back!

At the end of this month the streets of downtown Toronto will be bustling with people, music and floats as thousands come out to participate in the annual Toronto Pride Parade, Dyke March and Trans March.

As with previous years, Church Street will be closed for the final weekend of the month for the Pride Toronto Community Street Festival. The street festival will run south on Church Street from Bloor Street to Dundas Street East. Wellesley Street will also be closed from Yonge Street to Jarvis Street. The closure will go into effect around 7:00pm on Friday, June 28 and will remain in place until around 11:00pm on Sunday June 30.

Before you attend the Pride Parade, Dyke March or Trans March… Here’s everything you need to know about the three Toronto parades:

The 2024 Toronto Trans Rally and March
Friday June 28, 2024
7:00pm

Toronto’s annual Trans Rally and March is a celebration of all things, Transgender! The rally will begin at 7:00pm at the Community Stage at 78 Gould Street with speakers and performers who are going to be getting the marchers prepared. The march will follow and is intended to honour the experiences and struggles of Trans, nonbinary, and 2 Spirit folks, reaffirming that their existence is valid, necessary, and deserving of respect and dignity. The route of the march, which starts at approximately 8:00pm, is anticipated to follow its usual route – North on Church, West on Bloor, south on Younge, East of Carleton, to Allan Gardens (160 Gerrard St. East).

After the Trans March, stick around for the after-party (which begins at approximately 9:00pm) at the Community Stage (78 Gould Street), featuring performances by transgender performers and DJs.

The 2024 Toronto Dyke March
Saturday June 29, 2024
1:00pm

Toronto’s annual Dyke March will kick off with a rally on Saturday June 24 that starts at 1:00pm at the Community Stage at 78 Gould Street. The actual Dyke March will begin at 2:00pm. While this event is specifically for Dykes and Lesbian, allies are more welcome to join, however, when marching and rallying remember to leave space for folks who identify as Dyke or Lesbian to celebrate at the front!

Similar to the Trans March, after the Dyke March there will be an after-party and community fair – located at Church Street and Gould Street, which will run until approximately 6:00pm. Watch for Dyke and Lesbian performers and DJs, as well as space for Dykes and Lesbians to sell their art and to promote their work.

The 2024 Toronto Pride Parade
Sunday June 30, 2024
2:00pm – 7:00pm

It is the biggest event of Pride weekend! The Toronto Pride Parade will return this year with over 266+ groups marching to promote equality and inclusion! The parade will kick off at 2:00pm on Sunday June 30, starting at the corner of Bloor Street East and Church Street North. From there the parade will be making its way across Bloor, turning south at Yonge Street where it will continue until it turns RIGHT once again this year on Dundas Street West heading to Bay Street and the ending point at Nathan Phillips Square where music, performances and celebration awaits the Main Stage and Beer Garden where everyone can continue to party till the festival closes at 11:00pm.

Make sure to head there early to get a good lookout spot for the parade and please remember to bring water, sunscreen and even food to help get you through one of the biggest North American Pride Parades.

I’m a closet gay. I wish in the future there will be an event for closet gays in a private way during the pride month.
