‘Heartstopper’ Gets Season 3 Premiere Date, Teases The Moment Fans Have Been Waiting For

Netflix has confirmed the start date for the third season of Heartstopper – and that’s not the only treat they have for fans of the show…

It’s official: Heartstopper season 3 is coming to Netflix on Thursday October 3, 2024. Netflix just announced the highly-anticipated premiere date, along with a short clip from the upcoming season. The video was accompanied by an exclusive snippet of the track “Birds Of A Feather” from the upcoming album Hit Me Hard And Soft by Billie Eilish.

The minute-long teaser from the forthcoming season shows Charlie (Joe Locke) hesitating to tell boyfriend Nick (Kit Connor) he loves him for the first time. The “I love you” moment is a true fan favourite from Alice Oseman’s Heartstopper graphic novel series, and takes place in Volume 4.

Excitingly, the clip of Charlie, Tori and Nick is soundtracked by “Birds Of A Feather,” a new Billie Eilish track, taken from the two-time Oscar winner’s new album, which will be released later this week.

In season 3, Nick and Charlie’s relationship deepens and our favourites will face their biggest emotional challenges yet.

While most of Heartstopper’s original cast will be returning for its third season, it was previously revealed they’ll be joined by some new additions, including: Hayley Atwell, Eddie Marslan, and Jonathan Bailey. Sadly, though, Olivia Colman has confirmed she will not be returning for season three due to scheduling conflicts.

The first two seasons of Heartstopper are available to watch now on Netflix.
