Celebrating Canada's 2SLGBTQI+ Communities

Everything You Need To Know About The 2023 Green Space Festival!

The Green Space Festival returns to Barbara Hall Park with the very best in drag and DJ talent coming your way…

It’s almost time for Toronto’s annual (and dare we say epic) Pride weekend. Included in the most anticipated Toronto Pride events is the Green Space Festival, which will return to Barbara Hall Park (519 Church St) from Wednesday, June 21 until Sunday, June 25 featuring some of Toronto’s top drag queens, a few of your favourites from RuPaul’s Drag Race and Canada’s Drag Race as well as the hottest DJs from around the globe.

The Green Space Festival is an essential fundraising event for The 519, which has served as a valuable and vibrant hub for 2SLGBTQ+ communities in the city and beyond for the last 48 years.

“A true party for a cause, Green Space Festival is the essential fundraiser for The 519,” Stacy G Kelly, The 519’s director, philanthropy told IN Magazine last year. “Since inception, the Festival has directly raised $3.8 million for The 519’s programs and services for 2SLGBTQ+ communities in Toronto and beyond.”

Thinking of heading out to attend the 2023 Green Space Festival and support the 519? Here’s everything you need to know about a few of Toronto’s must-attend Pride events.
