Here’s All The 2023 Editions Of ‘Drag Race’ That Are On The Way

It looks like 2023 will be a landmark year for the ever-expanding RuPaul’s Drag Race franchise. There are 17 editions already confirmed…

Drag Race fatigue? Hopefully, not yet. If you like drag – and Drag Race – 2023 will be a pretty fantastic year for you and some incredibly talented drag artists around the globe. From new seasons of shows you already watch to brand-new international editions hosted by some of your fave queens, there are a lot of werkrooms, Snatch Games, reading challenges, balls, and lip syncs for your life headed your way in 2023.

Here are the 17 (yes, 17!) editions of Drag Race that have already been confirmed for 2023:

RuPaul’s Drag Race season 15: The fifteenth season of the series that started it all will premiere on January 6, 2023. 16 new contestants will be competing and RuPaul (of course) will return as host.

RuPaul’s Drag Race season 16: The sixteenth season of Drag Race was officially announced by World of Wonder in October, 2022. Casting opened the same day with deadline of January 6, 2023. It’s expected to premiere before the end of 2023.

RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 8: The eighth season of All Stars was officially announced in August, 2022 and is expected to premiere in 2023, after season 15 airs.

RuPaul’s Drag Race UK season 5: The fifth season of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK was officially announced in September, 2022 by BBC Three and is set to premiere in 2023.

Drag Race Belgique season 1: Drag Race Belgique is the upcoming Belgian French-language edition with host Rita Baga that was announced in July, 2022. It will premiere later in 2023.

Drag Race España season 3: The third season of Drag Race España was officially announced in June, 2022 with Supremme de Luxe returning as host. It will premiere in 2023.

Drag Race España All Stars season 1: Drag Race España All Stars is a sister series to Drag Race España, featuring memorable past contestants and host Supremme de Luxe. The series was announced in September, 2022 and it is slated to be released after season 3 of Drag Race España airs.

Drag Race France season 2: The second season of Drag Race France was officially announced in August, 2022 with Nicky Doll returning as host.

Canada’s Drag Race season 4: The fourth season of Canada’s Drag Race was announced in October, 2022 with Brooke Lynn Hytes returning as host. It will premiere before the end of 2023.

RuPaul’s Drag Race Down Under season 3: The third season of RuPaul’s Drag Race Down Under was announced in October, 2022 with RuPaul returning as host. It is expected to premiere before the end of 2023.

Drag Race Philippines season 2: The second season of Drag Race Philippines was first teased by judge Rajo Laurel in October, 2022. It is expected to premiere before the end of 2023.

Drag Race Italia season 2: The third season of Drag Race Italia with hosts Chiara Francini, Priscilla and Tommaso Zorzi is rumoured to premiere in late 2023.

Drag Race Sverige (Sweden) season 1: The first season of Drag Race Sverige was announced in April 2022. The Swedish show is presented by Robert Fux with singer and actress Kayo and radio and television host Farao Groth making up the judging panel. The first season will premiere in March 2023.

Drag Race Mexico season 1: The first season of Drag Race Mexico was announced in August, 2022 by World of Wonder. It is expected to premiere before the end of 2023.

Drag Race Brazil season 1: Drag Race Brazil is expected to premiere in 2023 and it will be hosted by actress, singer and model, Xuxa.

Drag Race Deutschland (Germany) season 1: Drag Race Deutschland was officially announced on August, 2022 by World of Wonder. It is expected to premiere before the end of 2023.

Global All Stars season 1: The first season of RuPaul’s Drag Race Global All Stars was announced on December 12, 2022. Little is known about the project at the moment, but it is rumoured to premiere in late 2023.
