Watch The Trailer For Netflix's New Queer Comedy 'Feel Good'

Mae Martin stars in the new romantic comedy series…

Netflix has released the first trailer for the upcoming half-hour series Feel Good. Created by and starring Mae Martin, the show is a semi-autobiographical account of her life as it follows a rising stand-up comedian named Mae who strikes up a relationship with a woman named George, played by Charlotte Ritchie.

Feel Good will follow Mae as she “juggles relationships with her parents, fellow addicts in a drugs support group, her colleagues at the local stand up club, and transforms her relationship with George from an addictive one to a healthy one”.

The series will also star comedy legend Lisa Kudrow as Mae’s mother Linda and Adrian Lukis as her father Malcolm.

In a statement, Mae said she is “beyond excited for people to finally see my semi-autobiographical show” and is hopeful that the series will make “people laugh, connect with the characters and root for Mae and George as a couple.”

She added: “We tried to make a show that’s funny, heartbreaking, and completely bizarre, because that’s what life is like.”

The six episode first season of Feel Good will start streaming on March 19 on Netflix. You can watch the trailer below.
