Lady Gaga Tells Her Vegas Audience Mike Pence Is The 'Worst' Example Of Christianity

Lady Gaga dragged Donald Trump and Mike Pence during her Enigma show in Las Vegas over the weekend…

This past weekend, from the stage at her ongoing Las Vegas residency, Lady Gaga responded to reports that Vice President Mike Pence’s wife Karen is to resume teaching at a Christian school that openly discriminates against LGBTQ students.

“To Mike Pence, who thinks it’s acceptable that his wife work at a school that bans LGBTQ, you are wrong,” Gaga said during her Enigma show. “You say we should not discriminate against Christianity? You are the worst representation of what it means to be a Christian. I am a Christian woman and what I do know about Christianity is that we bear no prejudice and that everybody is welcome. So you can take all that disgrace, Mr. Pence, and you can look yourself in the mirror. You’ll find it right there.”

Her comments come after Second Lady Karen Pence announced this week that she would return to teaching art at a conservative Bible school in the Washington, D.C., area. The school, Immanuel Christian School in Springfield, Virginia, requires that employees agree to a broad set of behavioral guidelines that explicitly discriminate against gay and transgender people.

The school’s employment applications ask applicants to affirm that marriage is “the uniting of one man and one woman” and that they will “maintain a lifestyle based on biblical standards of moral conduct” which precludes “homosexual or lesbian sexual activity” and “transgender identity.”

Pence previously worked at the school for 12 years. Her daughter Charlotte Pence attended as a child, according to the school’s website.

The apt Pence comments, which arrived following a run-through of Gaga’s single “Million Reasons,” were preceded by a brief slamming of Trump. “And if the fucking president of the United States could please put our government back in business… There are people who live paycheck to paycheck and need their money,” she said.
