Frank And Oak Unveil Unisex ‘And*’ Collection & Campaign Focused On Inclusivity

Frank And Oak has introduced a new capsule collection and campaign that focuses on inclusion, equality, and diversity.

The Canadian retailer released the unisex ‘And*’ collection earlier this week with an accompanying short film that includes an original poem by Cadence Weapon, a Toronto-based hip-hop artist and former poet laureate of Edmonton.

“We prefer to say ‘and’ instead of ‘or,’ as in, we are graceful, and we are polite, and we are thankful, and we apologize, and we are resilient, and we are resistant, and we are passionate,” Weapson says in the video echoing the brand’s belief that differences should not be overcome, but celebrated.

Frank And Oak’s unisex ‘And*’ collection includes cotton T-shirts and embroidered fleece sweaters with the word ‘And*’ stamped on each item. Each piece was fabricated by Petites-Mains, an organization in Montreal that supports immigrant women in need through professional, hands-on job training. The brand has also partnered with Equitas, an organization that works to extend equality and social justice in Canada and globally.

The collection ranges from $39.50 to $79.50 with $5 from each purchase going directly to Equitas.

You can check out Frank and Oak’s ‘And*’ collection at bricks-and-mortar locations in Montreal and Toronto or online at frankandoak.com/and.
