The 482 Collective

Supports women, children and individuals from diverse 2SLGBTQI+ communities in the Greater Toronto Area, York Region and beyond who have fled domestic violence and human trafficking, by providing timely support of essential items such as healthy food, personal hygiene products, infant supplies, kitchen/home essentials, cleaning products and more. Referrals accepted from case managers, crisis workers, police officers, victims’ services, shelters and community organizations (no self-referrals).

Queer Yukon

Supports, promotes and organizes events for 2SLGBTQI+ communities and allies in the Yukon region.

Saige Community Food Bank

Food bank that provides a no barrier, safe(r) space for transgender, gender non-conforming or queer individuals to access healthy food and support from their 2SLGBTQI+ peers and allies.

Community Fridge Halifax

Queer-run and anonymous group providing free food.

Toronto People With AIDS Foundation

Offers practical supports for people living with HIV/AIDS, including financial and food assistance.

Toby’s Place

Offers a drop-in program (snacks and dinner), facilitated group discussions, homework help, job search support and educational services on topics such as nutrition, eating on a budget and safe food handling (meals include vegan and vegetarian options), guest speakers, workshops and recreational activities (transportation fare available).

West Island LGBTQ2+ Centre

Offers drop-in support programs for 2SLGBTQI+ youth between 13 and 20 years old. Also provides weekly dinner for older adults and adults, weekly support groups for transgender and gender diverse people, young adult social groups and family support groups.

Kind Space

Offers support for the health and wellness of 2SLGBTQI+ people in the Ottawa/Outaouais region by providing accessible resources, events, and social and educational programming to celebrate people of all sexual orientations, gender identities and expressions.


Access Alliance Multicultural Health And Community Services

Provides support services for newcomers, women, families with children, peer outreach and support, parenting and parent-child groups, food skills groups, health education, prenatal nutrition and support, and 2SLGBTQI+ advocacy on newcomer, immigrant and refugee issues.
