Fierté Montréal Is Looking For Volunteers For The 2025 Festival

Here’s how you can be a vital part of one of Canada’s most exciting, festive, community-oriented events of the summer...

This August, the heart of Montréal will pulse with colour, music, and unity as the Fierté Montréal Pride Festival, also known as Montreal Pride, returns from Thursday, July 31 to Sunday, August 10, 2025, with the annual Pride Parade taking place on Sunday, August 10 at 1:00pm. As the largest 2SLGBTQI+ gathering in the Francophone world, the annual festival thrives on the passion and dedication of its volunteers. Whether you’re a seasoned supporter or new to the Canadian Pride movement, volunteering offers a unique opportunity to be part of this vibrant celebration.

As Fierté Montréal starts gearing up for the 2025 festival they are looking for volunteers to help make this year a festival to remember. Here’s more on how you can get involved.

Why volunteer?

Volunteering at Fierté Montréal is more than just lending a hand; it’s about making a difference in your community. By joining the 2025 volunteer team, you are helping to support the advancement of queer rights, engaging with a diverse and inclusive community, developing new skills and experiences, and immersing yourself in a festive and community-driven environment. So, what are you waiting for?

Volunteer roles

Volunteers are the backbone of any festival, including Fierté Montréal. Volunteers can take on a variety of roles such as:

  • Greeting festival-goers and providing information.
  • Assisting welcome agents on-site.
  • Holding flags during the Pride Parade.

A minimum commitment of just three hours is required, making it accessible for those with varying schedules.

How to get involved

Ready to be part of the celebration? For more information on volunteer opportunities at the 2025 Fierté Montréal Pride Festival you can visit the official Fierté Montréal volunteer page to learn more and submit your application.
