“That’s Hot!” Paris Hilton And Rainbow Railroad Team Up For A New Pride Campaign

The singer and changemaker wants you to dance to raise funds for at-risk LGBTQI+ people…

There’s a new fundraising campaign this Pride that will have you saying “That’s Hot.” Global non-profit Rainbow Railroad has partnered with everyone’s favourite hotel heiress and DJ, Paris Hilton, to help LGBTQI+ people across the world. Through Hilton’s non-profit 11:11 Media Impact, the pair are hoping to raise up to $111,111 for at-risk LGBTQI+ people.

The campaign coincides with the release of The Simple Life star’s new album Infinite Icon: The Remixes, which reimagines tracks from her number one selling pop album Infinite Icons released last year. To raise funds Hilton and Rainbow Railroad are asking people to dance to donate.

For every Instagram Reel or TikTok created using a track from the remix album, $11 will be donated to Rainbow Railroad. “Just choose a sliving [slaying + living] track, hit record and help someone find safety – it’s that easy,” Hilton said in an Instagram post.

Any post using the song counts and social media users have been showing other ways people can support without dancing. From “Get Ready With Me” (GRWM) videos to photo collages of LGBTQI+ couples to using the songs as background music, “nothing in this world” is stopping fans from supporting.

“Whether you’re dancing 💃🕺, vlogging 📸, or serving main character looks 💅 — do it your way. Let’s celebrate, sliv, and support together 🌈” Hilton encouraged.

11:11 Media Impact’s mission is to help people around the world sliv their best lives. Leveraging the global influence of Hilton and socially-conscious storytelling, the organization shines a light on critical issues and protects vulnerable youth around the world. It wants all youth to strive in a supportive and nurturing environment no matter the circumstances. The group’s advocacy work has led to 13 state laws and one federal bill passed.

Rainbow Railroad was founded in 2006 as a volunteer-run organization by a group of LGBTQI+ activists and human rights defenders who wanted to address the violence LGBTQI+ people worldwide faced. Based in both Canada and United States, it helps LGBTQI+ people facing persecution based on their sexual orientation, gender identity and sex characteristics.

While the collaboration is a fun way to engage people to donate, Rainbow Railroad needs support year round. You can find information on how to help its cause by visiting its website at RainbowRailroad.org.
