Watch The Trailer For The Gay Conversion Therapy Film, 'The Miseducation of Cameron Post'

The first official trailer for the long anticipated gay conversion therapy drama The Miseducation of Cameron Post is finally here…

In January, Desiree Akhavan’s The Miseducation of Cameron Post made headlines when it won the grand jury prize at the Sundance Film Festival. Now the movie adaptation of Emily Danforth’s acclaimed 2012 novel has its first official trailer.

The LGBTQ film follows a teenage girl (played by Chloë Grace Moretz) who is sent to a gay conversion camp by her evangelical aunt after she is caught kissing another girl. It’s set in the 90s at a camp called ‘God’s Promise.’

The Miseducation of Cameron Post opens in theatres across the country on Friday, August 3. You can watch the trailer below:
