Netflix has released the trailer for the upcoming feature-length finale of its sci-fi series Sense8, created by Lana and Lilly Wachowski and J. Michael Straczynski.
Netflix describes the finale as: “Personal lives are pushed aside as the cluster, their sidekicks, and some unexpected allies band together for a rescue mission and BPO take-down in order to protect the future of all Sensates.”
Sense8, which follows a “cluster” of eight psychically-linked individuals around the world, was cancelled last year after a two-season run. Though a fan petition quickly circulated to bring the show back in its entirety, the upcoming two-hour finale special will serve as the only closure for the beloved series. It was originally slated to run for five seasons.
The Sense8 series finale launches globally on June 8, only on Netflix.
