Fans of The Traitors are getting not one, but two new seasons. Across the pond Claudia Winkleman hosts Celebrity Traitors with Alan Carr and Tom Daley playing. Back at home, Karine Vanasse is inviting celebrities and civilians to compete in her game of deception – will another traitor win?

For those wanting to laugh out loud, there are new seasons of the Apple TV+ series Loot and FX’s English Teacher. Netflix is also set to premiere the highly anticipated gay military series Boots

OCTOBER 8 – MICHELLE ROSS: UNKNOWN ICON

Long before drag became a pop culture staple, Michelle Ross made her indelible mark as a powerhouse, dominating and defining the Black queer drag scene in Toronto and beyond. To her community, she was a dazzling trailblazer; to her family, she was Earl Barrington Shaw, or simply “Barry.” It wasn’t until Michelle’s sudden death in 2021 that her family claims to have discovered the hidden life and legacy she had built. Told through intimate interviews and archival footage, the film explores the emotional architecture of a person who lived between worlds.

OCTOBER 10 – THE OUTLAWS

When seven strangers are thrown together in a community service scheme, they realise they couldn’t be more different – minus breaking the law. When the group gets drawn into dangerous criminal activity, they must break down the barriers between them, before they can fight for what’s right.

CRAVE

OCTOBER 2 – RUPAUL’S DRAG RACE UK

Did you miss Mama Ru? In season seven of the UK franchise, 12 fierce and fabulous queens vie to become The UK’s Next Drag Superstar. OCTOBER 17 – I KNOW WHAT YOU DID LAST SUMMER

One year later, the past comes back to haunt them as they learn someone knows what they did last summer. Stalked by a mysterious killer, they soon seek help from two survivors of the Southport massacre of 1997.

OCTOBER 22 – THE TRAITORS CANADA

The latest installment in the Monster franchise follows the godfather of all serial killers, Ed Gein (Charlie Hunnam). In the 1950s, Gein haunted the frozen fields of rural Wisconsin, killing and desecrating the bodies of multiple women. His crimes went on to inspire multiple classic horror films, including The Silence of the Lambs, Psycho, and The Texas Chain Saw Massacre. All episodes air at once.

OCTOBER 9  – BOOTS

Set in the tough, unpredictable world of the 1990s US Marine Corps — when being gay in the military was still illegal — the series follows directionless, closeted Cameron Cope (Miles Heizer) and his best friend Ray McAffey (Liam Oh) as they join a diverse group of recruits. Together, they navigates the literal and metaphorical landmines of boot camp, forging unlikely bonds and discovering their true selves in an environment designed to push them to their limits.
