Everything You Need To Know About The Two Day Halloween Party Coming To Toronto’s Gay Village

Toronto’s Village is bringing back Halloween on Church and this year’s event will be held on October 31 and November 1…

The best part about Halloween being on a Friday is that the party continues into Saturday night. This year, Toronto’s Church and Wellesley BIA has taken note of the timing and will host a two day Halloween party for the first time.

“Canada’s biggest party just got even bigger,” a post on Instagram from the BIA teases. “Now extended to two incredible days including a beer garden.”

The event will feature the marquee Halloween Bash along Church Street on Friday, October 31 starting at 6:00 p.m. The following day at 7:00 p.m., The Village will host a beer garden and stage.

Here is everything we know so far about Halloween on Church 2025.

What is happening on Church Street for Halloween?

The Halloween festivities kick off on October 31 with a one-day closure of Church Street between Gloucester Street to Carlton Street. The annual Halloween Bash transforms the street into a spooktacular catwalk. “Attention ghouls and goblins! It’s time to shine and flaunt your incredible costumes!” the Halloween on Church website reads. Come parade down Church Street and steal the spotlight – show off your creative and fabulous looks, hunny!”

Attendees can expect a variety of Halloween costumes from those purchased last minute at Spirit Halloween to inventive, out of this world handmade looks to the ones where gay men try to pass off harnesses and underwear as a sexy cat or vampire.

The street reopens the next day, but the party continues at 7:00 p.m. with a horrifying beer garden. The new Halloween attraction will be located at 512 Church Street, the parking lot in between Crews & Tangos and O’Grady’s. Attendees can expect ‘scary sips’ and ‘wicked brews’ along with a night of tricks and treats.

The beer garden will feature a slew of performances with Jaret hosting the event. There will be drag performances by Sofonda, Rico Rico and Canada’s Drag Race runner-up Jada Shada Hudson. Singer Shadi will sing to the crowd, while Saint Misha and Cozmic Cat spin tunes. There will also be a Michael Jackson tribute, ‘sexy fashion show’ courtesy of The Men’s Room and a show by The Village Go-Go Boys.
