Everything You Need To Know About Calgary Pride 2025

We’ve curated a list of events happening at Prince’s Island Park during Calgary Pride August 30 and 31

It’s time for Calgary’s 2SLGBTQIA+ community to bloom and show the world that queer people are here and not going anywhere. Calgary Pride returns for its 35th edition, ending the month of August and Pride season.

This year’s theme is “Bursting into Bloom” recognizing the organizations that “sew the seeds of inclusion and change” in the city and beyond. Event organizers want to celebrate blossoming love, growth and Pride this season.

This festival may be shorter than other Pride events across Canada, but it has a packed schedule. Pride festivities will take over Prince’s Island Park (698 Eau Claire Ave SW) with a family zone, marketplace, beer garden, sober oasis, food truck alley and main stage. All events on the island have no entry fee.

In the week leading up to the festival, local businesses and restaurants will hold pride-themed events. “Expect a garden of possibilities with something for everyone to enjoy,” says Calgary Pride. Details on these events are still being released, so make sure to check out the Calgary Pride website and Instagram for updates.

Below is a list of the events taking place on Prince’s Island Park over the two days. Enjoy the end to the Pride 2025 season, but remember to celebrate and be proud 365 days of the year.
