We’ve curated a list of events sure to make a splash and have you dancing at Vancouver Pride from August 1 to 3…
Vancouver’s annual Pride Festival is back August 1 to 3, and this year’s event marks the return of the Davie Village Pride Festival! After a six year hiatus the street fair is back on August 3, stretching from Burrard Street to Jervis Street and Nelson Park. It will offer live entertainment and a market.
The city will also welcome Drag Race royalty for a series of ticketed and free events. You can catch American queens Kerri Colby, Lana Ja’Rae, Yvie Oddly, Naomi Smalls and more perform over the weekend. Local Vancouver-based queens such as Venus, Xana, Tiffany Ann Co. and The Girlfriend Experience will also take centre stage. Kendall Gender will perform at Untoxicated, a drug and alcohol free event, hosted by her drag grandmother Jaylene Tyme.
With only three days and several events, you’ll have to plan accordingly! To help we’ve curated a few suggestions.
