Pride Hamilton is back featuring drag, music and brunch from Friday, August 8 to Sunday, August 10…
While the Pride spirit has been strong in Hamilton, Ontario for decades, Pride Hamilton emerged onto the scene in 2019. This year’s theme is “reclamation, unity and healing.” It marks the seventh annual festival and fifth in-person event as 2020 and 2021 were virtual due to COVID.
The industrial, artistic and waterfall-filled city is set to welcome big names from the Canadian drag scene along with some up and comers. The festival is led by a two day musical and drag showcase by the water called Pride At The Pier and ends with a Drag Brunch at Hamilton Stadium.
Even though it’s a small festival, Pride Hamilton packs a lot of fun for its community and surrounding regions. So hop on a GO Train or plan a mini-road trip to The Hammer.
