The 19th edition of Fierté Montréal Festival is happening Thursday, July 31 to Sunday, August 10 and it’s being touted as “bigger and more inclusive than ever!”
The festival will unfold across three vibrant hubs (Urban, Village, Olympic) uniting over 300 organizations to deliver an array of artistic and cultural experiences for festival-goers.
The parade will once again take place on the last day with this year’s theme being “Blossom here, now!” The theme is an invitation for the 2SLGBTQI+ community to grow, shine and love freely. “It’s a celebration of our identities in a meadow where every struggle is a bud of hope,” the organization says.
With less than two months away, Fierté Montréal is starting to recruit volunteers to greet festival-goers, provide information, welcome guests and hold flags.
