Grindr Introduces Its ‘Interactive Cum Calculator’

Yes, you read that headline correctly. Grindr is helping us understand the nutritional value of semen…

Have you ever wondered how much cholesterol, sodium, calcium or vitamin c you get when swallowing someone’s load? If you have, then there is a new tool you need to try!

Hook-up app Grindr has released the first ever “interactive cum calculator” to highlight the nutritional value of semen. “It’s time to log your daily intake of the world’s most unexpected nutrient source,” the app said in a blog post.

Semen contains small amounts of nutrients that are meant to give sperm the energy needed to swim. These can include calcium, potassium, magnesium, zinc and more.

The calculator is easy to use. Enter the number of loads you want to or have ingested and you’re given the approximate nutritional value.

In order to determine these metrics, Grindr’s baseline is one load equals 4.0ml. However, load sizes can vary depending on one’s hydration, diet and other factors. The World Health Organization, notes the average range of semen per ejaculation is between 1.5 and 7.6ml.

Grindr hopes to continue advancing this growing science in the coming years. It has suggested future iterations of the calculator could include information on pH levels and even flavour profiles.

It goes without saying that semen should not replace any meals. The nutrient levels are minimal and won’t have a big effect on your nutritional intake. “While the ingredients in a load are generally safe, ingesting is not FDA-approved for nutritional purposes,” Grindr disclaims.

It’s also important to remember there is a risk of contracting sexually transmitted infections, which is why it is important to get tested. If you need help finding a testing facility check out the IN Directory.
