Love has been pouring in for the Drag Race Philippines judge as she faces a long recovery…
Drag Race fans woke up to unfortunate news about the health of Drag Race Philippines resident judge and season 4 and All Stars 6 competitor Jiggly Caliente.
In a statement released by her family on the drag star’s Instagram account, it was revealed that Jiggly’s right leg was amputated. “Bianca (Jiggly’s off-stage name), has experienced a serious health setback,” the statement reads. “Due to a severe infection she was hospitalized and, as a result, had undergone the loss of most of her right leg.”
The statement goes on to say her recovery will be extensive and that public engagements are on pause for the foreseeable future. It also means she will not appear on the upcoming season of Drag Race Philippines and will likely not be judging the new spin-off Drag Race Philippines: Slaysian Royale, which was announced earlier this year.
The family has asked for privacy as Jiggly navigates her healing journey and has invited fans, friends and the community to send her uplifting messages. Since the statement was posted on Instagram around 2:00 a.m. ET, the well wishes have flooded in. Comments include:
