QueerTech, a national nonprofit organization dedicated to queering the Canadian tech ecosystem, has announced the launch of the QT Founders Qatalyst Program, a 12-week accelerator designed to empower early-stage 2SLGBTQIA+ entrepreneurs across Canada. This exciting new program aims to foster innovation and support within the queer tech community by providing participants with the tools, resources, and networks necessary to scale their ventures successfully.
The QT Founders Qatalyst Program offers a comprehensive curriculum tailored to the unique challenges faced by 2SLGBTQIA+ entrepreneurs. Participants will benefit from expert-led sessions, personalized mentorship, and access to a vibrant community of like-minded founders and industry leaders. The program is committed to inclusivity and accessibility, ensuring that all entrepreneurs, regardless of their background or location, have the opportunity to participate and thrive.
“Our mission with the QT Founders Qatalyst Program is to create a supportive and empowering environment where 2SLGBTQIA+ entrepreneurs can flourish,” said Naoufel Testaouni, CEO of QueerTech. “We believe that by providing tailored resources and fostering a strong community, we can help queer founders overcome barriers and drive innovation within the tech industry.”
The QT Founders Qatalyst Program is made possible through the financial support of the Canadian Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce (CGLCC) and the Government of Canada.
Applications for the inaugural cohort are now open, with the program set to commence in spring 2025. Early-stage 2SLGBTQIA+ entrepreneurs across Canada are encouraged to apply and take advantage of this unique opportunity to accelerate their ventures and contribute to a more inclusive tech landscape.
