Chloë Grace Moretz Comes Out As A “Gay Woman”

The actress called herself a “gay woman” in a social media post about the importance of voting in the upcoming 2024 US presidential election…

Chloë Grace Moretz has officially come out as a “gay woman.” The 27-year old actress spoke out about her sexuality in a passionate Instagram post that she posted on November 2. The post highlighted LGBTQ issues and women’s reproductive rights reminding Americans to remember to exercise their right to vote on Tuesday, November 5, 2024.

“There is so much on the line this election. I believe the government has no right over my body as a woman, and that the decisions over my body should come ONLY from myself and my doctor,” wrote Moretz.

“I believe in the need for legal protections that protects the LGBTQ+ community as a gay woman. We need protections in this country and to have access to the care we need and deserve,” she added.

Moretz concluded her post by urging fans to come up with a “plan” to make sure they make it to a polling place on November 5.

In 2018, Moretz portrayed a gay teenager sent against her will to a conversion therapy camp in the coming-of-age drama The Miseducation of Cameron Post. The film, directed by Desiree Akhavan, was based on the popular 2012 teen novel The Miseducation of Cameron Post, which was written by Emily M. Danforth.

Moretz, who previously dated Brooklyn Beckham, has been romantically linked to model Kate Harrison for more than five years. The two women often share photos of themselves together on Instagram, including in June 2023, when Harrison posted a selfie photo of them posing together at a March for gay women in New York City.
