Watch The Trailer For ‘Heartstopper’ Season 3

Netflix has released the highly-anticipated trailer for season 3 of Heartstopper, which starts streaming on October 3…

The official trailer for the highly-anticipate third season of Heartstopper is finally here, and Charlie and Nick’s love story is only getting sweeter and more complicated.

Season 3 of Netflix’s popular YA series, based on the graphic novels by Alice Oseman, will take key events from the fourth book into account in the upcoming eight episodes. All episodes will land at once on the streamer on October 3. Charlie (Joe Locke) and Nick (Kit Connor) both have serious topics of conversation to broach — Charlie wants to tell Nick he loves him, and Nick wants to ask Charlie about his eating disorder.

“Charlie, I’m really worried about you,” Nick says at one point as relationships and identity drama abound in the third season teaser for the British coming-of-age series. “I hate feeling like this. I don’t know what to do now,” Charlie responds in another scene, as his mental health issues, first hinted at during the second season, become a major theme for the new season.

Charlie’s sister Tori (Jenny Walser) notices it too, and tells Charlie: “I worry about you all the time.”

Charlie and Nick’s friends Tara (Corinna Brown), Darcy (Kizzy Edgell), Tao (William Gao) and Elle (Yasmin Finney) also show their own angst in the just-released trailer over becoming young adults, just as young love and sex and university ambitions figure in their lives. As Nick puts it after Tara lays things out in the trailer: “It’s all just a lot.”

The third season trailer also introduces Bridgerton star Jonathan Bailey doing a guest appearance as Jack Maddox, Charlie’s celebrity crush.

The official description of the season reads: Charlie and Nick are ready to take things to the next level. As they get closer in every way, they face their relationship’s biggest challenge yet.

Heartstopper season 3 premieres on October 3, 2024 on Netflix.
