This Pride Month you can celebrate with an incredible night of entertainment, all in support of a good cause. Tickets are on sale now for Rainbow Railroad’s Freedom Party in Toronto! The June 8 event is set to feature an unforgettable headline performance from beloved RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 4 Winner, Monét X Change.

The fundraising event will also feature performances by some of Toronto’s hottest drag talent as well as music courtesy of some of Toronto’s favourite DJ’s and special musical guests. A complete line-up of talent is forthcoming, but complimentary food and drink will be included in the price of the ticket.

For the first time ever, attendees at the event will have the opportunity to preview Rainbow Railroad’s 2022 annual report, which includes data and insights about the global state of LGBTQI+ persecution. The full report will be released on World Refugee Day, June 20.

Rainbow Railroad is a global not-for-profit organization that helps LGTBQI+ people facing persecution based on their sexual orientation, gender identity and sex characteristics. Since their founding in 2006, Rainbow Railroad has supported over 7,000 LGBTQI+ individuals to find safety through emergency relocation and other forms of assistance. In 2022, Rainbow Railroad received almost 10,000 requests for help from around the world.

The annual Freedom Party is a celebration of LGBTQI+ freedom – the freedoms we have, and the freedoms we continue to fight for. The event raises critical funds to support Rainbow Railroad in their work helping LGBTQI+ people around the world.
