The 25th Annual ‘Art With Heart’ Auction Takes Place October 16

The 2018 edition of the Art With Heart fundraiser for Casey House returns for another edition…

For art lovers who want to make a difference, the annual Art with Heart art show fundraiser for Casey House in Toronto is ready for another year. The evening at the Art Gallery of Ontario includes an impressive collection of Canadian contemporary works of art, gourmet food, complimentary bar and a giant live auction.

This year’s Art With Heart features a live and silent auction of paintings, prints, drawings and photographs by some of this country’s foremost established and emerging artists. Watch for pieces of art up for grabs from Kent Monkman and Shuvinai Ashoona, Meryl McMaster, Padloo Samayualie, Ningiukulu Teevee, Shelley Adler, John Scott, Diana Thorneycroft, Micah Lexier, Charles Pachter, and Douglas Coupland, many of whom created individual works especially for this milestone event.

You can see the entire collection online at artwithheart.ca.

Anyone can participate by submitting an absentee bid in advance, or bid by telephone during the live auction and bidding online for the silent auction.

The annual Art With Heart contemporary art auction is one of Casey House’s biggest fundraising events of the year. Art purchases at Art With Heart, and money raised at other fundraising events and campaigns throughout the year contribute to innovative interdisciplinary health care at Canada’s first and only stand-alone hospital for people living with HIV/AIDS. Casey House has been running their HIV/AIDS hospice with community programs including home nursing care and outreach since 1988.

Casey House’s 25th annual Art With Heart takes place on Tuesday October 16, 2018 at the AGO. Reception and viewing begins 6:00 pm, the live auction starts 7:30 pm, and the silent auction is open until 10:30 pm. Tickets are available now at artwithheart.ca.
