'Broad City' Star Abbi Jacobson Says She Is Bisexual

Broad City star Abbi Jacobson says she dates “men and women”…

Broad City star Abbi Jacobson has opened up about her sexuality in a new interview with Vanity Fair.

Jacobson was asked what her love life looks like in light of the fact that she’s so very busy these days. In addition to promoting her new film 6 Balloons (co-starring Dave Franco and written and directed by Marja-Lewis Ryan), Jacobson continues to work on Broad City, a new season of her modern art podcast A Piece of Work, and the upcoming TV version of A League of Their Own for Amazon among other things.

Jacobson confirmed that she’s open to meeting someone, saying, “I kind of go both ways; I date men and women.

While there has been speculation, this is the first time the actress has ever publicly addressed her sexuality.

“They have to be funny, doing something they love,” Jacobson said. “I don’t know—I’ve never really been interviewed about this before.”

When the Vanity Fair interviewer pointed out that by saying this, Jacobson might be opening herself up to people approaching her as potential matches, she said, “Yeah, who knows? The world is my oyster.”
