Splurging on spooge?

“All of the guys I have been with have more cum than I. Is it possible to increase my cum?”

The amount of ejaculate, or semen, or “cum” each person has varies due to many different reasons — most of which you can’t change, like age and genetics. Semen is produced inside your urinary tract from the tip of your penis all the way down to your balls.

The major producer is the seminal vesicles which sit just behind the prostate and bladder and secrete a sticky, yellow, sugar-rich fluid which serves as nutrients for the sperm (created in the testicles). Seminal fluid makes up approximately 50 to 70 percent of semen, which is what gives it a sugary taste.

The neighbouring prostate gland secretes fluid as well (about 20 to 30 percent), mixing it in as the seminal fluid and sperm pass through it. The prostatic fluid contains enzymes and other things that biologically help sperm survive the foreign, hostile environments of the vagina. (No offence intended for vaginal connoisseurs.) The very small remainder of the volume is made up of the actual sperm and of lubricating fluid secreted by the bulbourethral glands.

The fluid secreted by these glands is largely composed of water; if you are not hydrated enough your overall volume will be less. Not drinking enough water or drinking alcohol or caffeine which enhance body water loss decreases the amount of cum you produce. The glands also respond to how stimulated or excited you are… meaning if you’re very into it they will work at their maximum. Plus the more excited you are, the harder the muscles will work shooting it out of you instead of leaving some cum in your penis to leak out later.

Glands also need time to recover or regenerate the fluid they have created. It’s been estimated that complete recovery of “stores” occurs after one to two days. Once this happens, the glands stop producing fluids and wait until “happy time.” Contrary to urban legend even if you wait for over a week you will still produce as much as you would at day two. Because of this recovery time, anything less than a day between orgasms will decrease how much comes out. (Enough times, and you will have dry orgasms, which for most guys is shooting over three times in a short period.)

Several online sources of questionable reliability suggest amino acids such as L-arginine and L-lysine, along with zinc, and something called “the Horny Goat Weed.” Amino acids and zinc certainly can’t hurt but I wouldn’t spend a great deal of time or money on them.

So to increase how much you cum: Wait as much time in between as possible, don’t drink coffee or alcohol, and drink lots of water. Extend foreplay or masturbation beforehand to get you very excited and your glands and muscles working at maximum. Lastly, accept that everyone is different and that even if you’re not a big producer, it’s not that “large” a deal. In fact, it makes clean-up easier.
